First step for your kilt order is to figure out what tartan and weight of tartan you would like. If you already know – great! If you haven’t figured it out yet – that’s okay too! All the tartan I’ll be using for any kilts I make will be coming from either the House of Edgar or from Lochcarron of Scotland, so pop over to one of those sites to pick your tartan.
Next you’ll need to figure out what straps and buckles you would like – I can do plain black and plain brown straps, and silver or brass buckles.
If you are ordering a man’s kilt, head over to the Measuring Guide to figure out your measurements. If you need a hand with measuring, go to the Contact page and drop me an email – I’ll make sure to get back to you as soon as I can!
If you are ordering a ladies’ kilt, head over to the Contact page and get in touch so we can organise getting you measured and fitted in person.
Now that you’ve picked your tartan and taken your measurements, get in touch to let me know what you have decided on and when you need your kilt by – if it is for an important event like a wedding, please order your kilt with at least 8 weeks minimum before your big day. This is to ensure that your kilt will be made and delivered in time, and to avoid any unneeded stress for either party.
Pricings
All kilt’s start at £600. This is liable to change depending on tartan type and weight. You can either pay in full when you order your kilt or in 2 instalments, paying a minimum of £200 when you order to cover materials and the remainder at a later date which must be paid before the kilt is completed. Once your kilt is finished I will send images of the completed kilt to you via email before posting it to you.
